We send our congratulations to Emer Hickey & Ronan Mullane who were married in Granagh on Friday 22nd. The sun shone and everybody was in great form. The beautiful bridesmaids, her sister Fiona, Niamh Chawke and Mairead Creagh. The dapper groomsmen, Darren Duggen, Pat Tobin and Shane Golden. Pageboys, Harry & Noah Collins, Thomas Hickey and Cathal Dore. The latter at just one year old, made his first long walk up the aisle, specially for his Auntie. Prayers of the Faithful - Alice & Izzy O'Brien, John O'Grady, Stephen Hickey and Paudie Collins. A wonderful evening followed at The Inn at Dromoland. ARCHERY:
Wed 27th & Thur 28th: Free event at U.L. The Emerald Isle Cup is an archery competition for local and international archers. It was set up to be a test event for the World Archery Youth Championship which is also being held at the University of Limerick in 2023, where you will see future Olympic hopefuls battle it out. B-FEST is BACK:
Sat 30th: Limerick Motor Club are holding a Hillclimb and Sprint event from Kilmihill to Lee's Cross; The road from the turn off for Knockfierna to Lee's Cross will be closed to traffic from 10am to 5pm. Spectators and competitors can avail of food stands in Jim Moore's field all day. A presentation will be held in Condron's Bar on Saturday Evening. Enjoy a walk up Knockfierna. A shuttle bus system will operate from 12 noon. Anyone wishing to avail of this please give your name to one of the organisers when you arrive. Tea & Coffees will be available at the hall from 12. Bring the kids along, goodie bags can be bought in the car park on the route up Knockfierna and there are lots of places the kids can have a Picnic ! Music Saturday night will be with EPIC SHADOW in Condron's Bar.
Sunday 31st: Family Fun Day, Tractor races, Go kart races, Egg and spoon, Novelty races, Lots of fun to be had.
Dj Mossie will play on the street from 4 to 6pm. Trad music session from 7 to 9pm. Music on the rig by Strange Affair from 10pm. There will be a cover charge of €5 for adults, all donations will be gratefully accepted.
The lines for the draw will be on sale all weekend, €2 a line or 3 for €5. Pieta House will be the main beneficiaries of BFest 2022.

Sun 31st, 12pm: The Joe Wright memorial run will take place in Herbertstown, in aid of Milford Hospice.
TOUR de MUNSTER:
Ger Mullane, Kilatal, will be taking part in 600km+ cycle around Munster in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland. Any donation is very much appreciated for this very worthy cause. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little, everything helps.
