Last Sunday, we remembered the anniversaries of Stephen Collins, Ned & Mamie Duggan, Seamus Madden & Fr. Dermot McCarthy (1993). I measc na naofa go mbeidh siad I gcónaí.

Fri 15th Aug: Feast of the Assumption. Mass in Granagh at 10am and in Ballingarry at 7pm.

Gaza Collection: Sincere thanks to all in the parish for the wonderful collection of €3,000, which has been forwarded to the Trocaire account.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Thur 14th, 8pm, Knockaderry Fayre: The weekend starts with a rememberance of Sophie Pierce, sports woman and aviator in the Halla Beag. Fri 15th. 45 card drive in the Halla doors open at 8pm.

Fri 15th,11.30am, Croom Town Park; A special outdoor Mass (weather permitting), to bid farewell to Canon Fitzmaurice and honour Tom and Eileen Moloney. This Mass also marks the Feast of the Assumption. All are warmly invited to attend, with tea and coffee served afterwards in Aubergine.

Sat 16th,11 am, Cappamore Agricultural Show, packed with competitions, displays, and family fun!

Sun 17th Knockaderry Fayre; Music with 'Swingman' 4-6pm and lots of activities - Dog show, fancy dress ,sports games & food.

Sun 24th: Limerick Show in Patrickswell.

Sat 30th, Bingo fundraiser in the Charleville Park hotel. In aid of the Nurses and Doctors in Limerick Maternity Neonatal Unit and Limerick Children’s Resus in the Regional Hospital There will also be spot prizes and an auction of signed and framed Limerick, Cork and Munster jerseys.
