AUTUMN VIBES

GDA's AGM:

Fri 10th Oct: 8pm. Please note change of date. We welcome you to join our busy organisation. You might be interested in the tidy towns aspect - the village is looking fabulous at the minute, new hanging baskets, new beds at the parochial house & the beautiful River Garden is almost ready. Volunteers are always needed in this group.

You might be interested in helping with social media, applying for grants might be your thing or helping with play preparations.

There's a lot going on & to keep up the momentum, we would be glad to have extra members.

Naturally, new members bring new views & ideas which is most important in keeping an organisation fresh & vibrant.

IN the HAll:

Art & Craft: Tue 7th Oct, 2-4pm. Adult Classes, for 8weeks. Please note change of date and time, due to tutor availability. Minimum of eight required for class to go ahead. To register text your name to 087-0030313.

Nidra Yoga: Tue 7th Oct. 7.30-8.30pm. Choice of 4 or 8 classes. Contact Eileen for booking & further details 086-7953239.

Sun 12th Oct. Social Dancing, 3-5.30pm to the Michael Sexton Band.

FOLK CHOIR:

The choir will resume for Sunday 9th Oct at 10.30 Mass. Upcoming dates for November - Sunday 9th (Bereavement Mass) &16th.

December - Sun 14th, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. New members always welcome.

RIVER GARDEN:

Sincere thanks to the volunteers who turned up last Saturday. The weather was with them and they got the concrete in for the paths.

What used to be an unused over-grown area is now accessible and gives a beautiful view of the Glasha. Well done to all concerned.
