WHAT's ON:
Sun 28th July, Colmanswell community council are having a Vintage Run, leaving at 12pm.
July - Nov: Eanna Ni Lamhna & Diarmuid Gavin launched the latest exhibition, "Creepy Crawlies: Love/Hate", in the Hunt Museum this week. They hope that this innovative exhibition will engage, educate, and inspire visitors of all ages through the fascinating world of bugs and their crucial roles in our biodiversity and daily lives. Of course, that means you have to go and visit the Museum & take the kids.
Our relationship with insects is often misunderstood, driven by a lack of knowledge about their vital contributions to maintaining a balanced environment. Insects are integral to the cycle of life, and disrupting their ecosystems can have profound consequences for our planet and our survival. Through the exhibition this knowledge gap is bridged and couldn't we all do with a bit of knowledge.! Give the 'creepy crawlies' a chance...
Select pieces from the Hunt Collection that feature insects will also be on display. These artifacts highlight the significance of insects, in various cultures and time periods.! Tickets can be booked on www.huntmuseum.com
St. SWITHIN's DAY:
