CHURCH NEWS:
Last Sunday, we remembered the first anniversary of Gerard Speiran and the anniversary of Pauline Sheahan. I measc na naofa go mbeidh síad I gcónaí.
Communion: Saturday 17th May. Wishing all the girls & boys and their families a wonderful day.
CHOMHBHRÓN:
We offer our sympathies to the family of Bernie O'Carroll (née Carmody), late of Liskennett and formerly Carnahalla, Cappawhite, who passed peacefully on May 10th. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jimmy and parents John and Mary. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Mary (Lynch), son Paddy, sons-in-law Thomas and Keith, brother Michael, sisters Marie (Merrick) and Helen (Kelly), brother-in-law Gerry, sisters-in-law Sheila and Rosaire, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Bernie was reposed at St.Joseph's Church on Tuesday evening. Requiem Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Ar dheis Dé go ráíbh a hanam dilís. Donations if desired to Dementia Ireland.
