GRANAGH DEV:

Following on from last week, the updated amount of €2,735.00 was presented to Garda Mark O'Mahoney, on Tuesday 10th, for the 'Little Blue Heroes'. Another generous sponsor, that I didn't name last week, was Power's Pharmacy, Kilfinane. We sincerely thank all our sponsors for their generosity. Thanks also to Seamus Twomey for transferring his licence to the Hall for the night and all the work, that entailed. Finally huge thanks must go to our Band for the fantastic night of entertainment they provided. They played well over the usual two hours with a few encores..! They had to add a lot of songs to their repertoire, so there were many hours of practise leading up to the night. They are all busy people, who have lots of other things going on. We thank them for being so conscientious and for sharing their talents with us. Thanks to Susan Moran, Rob Sheerin, Eoin Butler, Kieran Larkin and Liam Darcy. It was a wonderful gathering with a great result for the Little Blue Heroes.

LADIES CLUB:

Wed 18th June at 10am. This will be the last meeting of the Club, before the Summer recess. Thanks to the organisers, bakers and speakers for all their contributions. It is a lovely get-together every month, very interesting speakers, with time for a chat and a cuppa after. If you haven't tried it out already, keep Wednesdays in September free.
