CONGRATULATIONS:

Hard to believe, The Weekly Observer is celebrating forty two years of publications.! They have certainly lived up to their mission statement of ' recording events in the West Limerick catchment area with stories and photos'. Thanks to the many correspondents sending in local news from their area, we have a fascinating read every week and know what events are being held county-wide. This is vital for communities who wish to promote events and it also gives people the opportunity to support events or charities of their choice.

Granagh Dev have benefited greatly, since we got the opportunity to send in our local stories & photos. We would like to thank the Editor and Staff for providing this valuable service and wish them continued success with the paper. Even with the advent of social media, there is nothing like sitting down with the paper, going through the photos first, as you are sure to know someone, then going back and reading all the notes.
