CHOMHBHRÓN:

We offer our sympathies to the family of Denis Sexton, Lisduane, who passed peacefully on March 4th, in UHL surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Christina, son Dave, daughters Moira and Carmel, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Roisín, grandsons, brother Tom, sister Maisie, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

He was reposed at O'Grady's with Requiem Mass celebrated in Granagh on Thursday and burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Denis was happy and content working on his farm and had a great affinity with all animals. He was always a hard worker but very much enjoyed meeting up with the neighbours at the creamery. Denis's health deteriorated in the last two years so Christina and the family, to their credit, cared for and nursed him at home. As Denis and Christina were wed in '74, this was their 50th year of marriage. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. Go dtuga Dia Suaimhneas Sioraí da anam uasal.

In Malawi, Malita is also proud to be part of a strong community. Despite the challenges they face, the community works hard to build a better future for their children through education, savings & loans initiatives and village gatherings.
