August brings the Sheaves of Corn, Then the Harvest Home is borne:

CLOTHES COLLECTION: Granagh NS parents' association, are holding their collection this coming weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7th, 8th, 9th August, 5pm - 8pm each evening. Drop-off at the Parochial House

GREYBRIDGE CLASSIC CLUB: The Club are hosting their annual Cross Country Charity Tractor Run on Saturday August 15th. The run will leave from Listons Farm, Ballyculleen, Croom, V35 XT88 - registration will start at 4pm with all tractors leaving at 5pm sharp. All funds raised going to local charities.

Lough Gur Heritage Centre, Museum and Interpretive Centre is open: Weekdays 10am to 5pm: Weekends 12pm to 6pm: Lough Gur Tours are available to book online at www.loughgur.com There is a core team of approximately ten trained guides who can share their knowledge on the historical sites in the area. Lough Gur Solstice Park playground located beside the Heritage Centre is now open to the public! Visitors to the playground are asked to be responsible and use personal judgement when visiting and maybe return at a later date if the playground is busy.

Mitchelstown Caves: - have reopened, daily from 10am to 4.45 pm. Entry to the cave will be by bookings only, to make a booking please call 052 7467246. Old Irish Ways Museum: - Caherguillamore, Bruff. Telephone Denis at 086 - 1541078 for visiting times.
