'' Warm Sept brings the Fruit ''

COFFEE MORNING: Thursday 19th Sept: A Milford Hospice Coffee Morning will take place from 10.30am to 2pm at the Desmond Complex, Newcastle West. Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated.

WRITING COURSE: This new 6-week course will focus on learning the basic elements of fiction writing. The course will suit beginners and the more established writer looking to structure their work. In a supportive environment, go along and learn how to get started writing that story you always wanted to tell. Tutor Sheila Quealey. CULTURE NIGHT:

Friday 20th Sept: Musica Fusion School, Charleville. 6.30pm - 7pm. The Musica Fusion Orchestra and Musica Fusion choir will perform on culture night! Schoolyard Theatre: 8pm - 9.30pm. An Evening of Traditional and Folk Music hosted by local music group Ceoltóirí Clárach featuring an abundance of fantastic talent from local young and mature musicians. Red door Gallery: NCWest. 8-9pm. Paintings by Olivia O’Keeffe on exhibit until Oct 5th. Opening reception on Culture night with harpists Claire & Kayla McMahon. Parkway Shopping Centre: Fri 13th - 20th: The John McCarthy Circus Travelling Exhibition gives an intriguing and colourful insight into the travelling circuses and their contribution to Ireland's cultural heritage. Splendid colours invite us inside the circus canvas with thirteen local artists exhibiting their take on the 'Big Top' with a contemporary arts exhibition.The exhibition will be open daily from 12 noon until 6pm. Late opening on Thursdays & Fridays until 9pm. Hunt Museum: 5pm - 10pm: Experience the taste, smells and sights of The Culture of Food. Professional chefs will be cooking ten recipes submitted by Limerick people, 5pm - 9pm. (€5 per dish). Hear the sounds of Poland, Africa and Ireland.

HARVEST DAY: Sunday 22nd: The Greybridge Harvest Day will take place in Manister. Our day will include tractor, vintage cars and machinery displays, model displays, monster raffle, lots of fun and games for all the family.. Gates open at 12pm, with proceeds on the day going to Cliona's Foundation, TLC4CF and Manister Community.

FREE SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS: International Week of the Deaf 23rd-29th September. Tuesday the 24th is the day that promotes sign language rights for all children. So, TUESDAY 24th September, at 6pm Karol McGuirk, our sign language teacher is giving a FREE sign language class at Musica Fusion School, Charleville, at 6pm. This class is for children aged 7+ and booking is essential to reserve your place. This is a unique opportunity for children to learn a little of a language that means so much and is so important to so many people.
