A million thanks to all our wonderful sponsors for donating such valuable prizes and thanks to the ladies and gents who sold several books of tickets outside the parish. We will never again see a draw like it !!. To say we were astounded is only putting it mildly but we can tell you that total funds received from ticket sales, Vintage & Walk registrations and cake sale, on the day, came in at the high end of 20k. All down to your unbelievable generosity – through sponsorship, donations, providing food, covering printing costs, supplying goods and equipment and your time. Delighted to say that Peggy is now able to avail of a private vitamin boosting treatment, which will help to build her strength before receiving Chemo. The only mystery left unsolved – how Jimmy Morrissey wore the woolly hat all day long, in 28⃰ heat without a bead of sweat on his brow ????
