Mary Chawke, Banogue. RIP

CHOMHBHRÓN: Our sympathies to the family and relatives of the late Mary Chawke (nee Lane), Dohora, Banogue, and formerly of Castleroberts, who passed peacefully on Saturday 23rd in UHL. Wife of the late Martin, predeceased by her son Kieran. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Jim, John, Martin, Noel, Liam, Colm, Michael, daughters Marion (Twomey), Margaret (Larkin), Bernie (Bailey), Regina (Downey), Patricia (Collins), sister in law Ann Lane, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Reposing at Daffy's Funeral Home, this Wednesday 27th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with removal to St. Peter and Paul Church, Banogue. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 28th February, at 12:00 noon. Burial immediately afterwards at Banogue Cemetery. Donations if desired to Epilepsy Ireland. Ar dheis Lamh Dé go raibh a hanam Dilís.

DRAMA FEST: Knockaderry Resource Centre host the annual Drama festival. Their remaining programme is as follows; Friday 1st March - Castlemahon Drama - 'Moll' by John b Keane: Saturday 2nd - Abha Bhan Drama, Ballyhahill - 'Sive' by John B Keane: Sunday 3rd - Seamus O'Kelly Players, Loughrea, Galway - 'A Wake in the West' by Michael J. Ginnelly. Curtains up at 8pm.

FREE TRAINING: West Limerick Resources in partnership with LEO are offering a Free ' Start Your Own Business' programme over four nights in the Longcourt House Hotel, for those thinking of starting a new business or those who might have recently done so. GRANAGH UTD: Friday 8th March, 8pm, The Rock Bar: Fundraising RACE NIGHT; 10 Races with10 runners per race. Last Race will be an Auction where the ten runners will be auctioned off on the night. Like to sponsor a horse for €20, like to sponsor a race for €200. A great nights entertainment guaranteed.

CAMOGIE 45 DRIVE: Monday 11th Mar, 8.30pm: The Annual 45 Drive is back in Granagh Community Centre for the G/B Camogie Club. Great Cash prizes, Table prizes and Raffle.

RATHFREDAGH EVENT: Wednesday 13th March; 10am - 4pm. Paddy Scully is hosting a Coffee morning and Afternoon Dancing in aid of Rathfredagh on their premises. Kevin Barry & Friends will provide the music from 2pm - 4pm with a free raffle.
