CONGRATULATIONS: The Children’s Grief Centre in Limerick has won the National Lottery Good Cause of the Year award - they won €25,000 for the award, plus an additional €10,000 for its category win.. The charity, founded in 2009 by Sr Helen Culhane - which supports children who suffer loss from bereavement, divorce or separation - won the overall award at an awards ceremony in Dublin. Sr Helen said, she was overjoyed to receive this reward. She said, children often find it difficult to express their feelings through language so they are allowed to choose their own form of expression.
