St. VINCENT DePAUL: Friday 5th Oct, 9.00pm. The local branch of St. Vincent dePaul are holding their Annual Table Quiz this coming weekend.

Please support this worthy cause to help assist families in our community. A great night's entertainment is guaranteed with lots of spot prizes. Please give a little, it helps alot.

CUAN MHUIRE - MARKET: Again, this Thursday 4th the Farmer's market will be held from 10.30am - 12.30pm, at the Garden Centre, Bruree. Lots to choose from, Bread, Preserves, Jams, Pottery, Crafts, Candles and Handmade cards for all occasions. The first of five Gardening Classes begins on Wednesday 10th Oct from 11am - 12pm. NATIONAL SCHOOL: Saturday 6th Oct: The School Community in Granagh invites you all to join us for the ‘Opening of School-Year Mass’ in which all the children will be involved. The Mass will be in the church next Saturday evening at the usual time of 7pm and we will also be joined by the School Staff and the Board of Management.

Immediately after mass you are all invited to drop into the school for a few minutes to see and admire the lovely marmoleum floor covering which was laid in all three class-room floors during the summer. This was made possible by the generosity of the whole community in Granagh.

We thank all the organisations and local businesses and individuals for your generosity. A special thanks to the Parents Association for the many fund raising events they organised.

Granagh Players Drama Group, consistently supportive of the school, once again came up with huge support for this. We take this opportunity to thank each and everyone whose generosity made this possible.
