Another Opening, Another Show....
GRANAGH PLAYERS:
Eventually, we are facing the opening weekend with a nervous excitement. Wondering if we have forgotten something and making lists of lists in case we do. It is a huge undertaking and only for the number of volunteers helping out, it would be impossible to run, as efficiently as it does.
After John Bosco's adventures in Cork, he has to go to confession and the local priest ( John English) even feels sorry for him.
Even though John B has had a few hairy experiences, he is not willing to give up and we see himself and Sylvie ( John Bennett) heading to the Horse Show in Ballsbridge. Sylvie spots two unattached ladies, Trudy ( Theresa Noonan) & Suzanne ( Mary Flynn) and makes a bee line for them, with John following on behind. Another eventful night in Dublin, needless to say.!!
On their return, Sylvie has yet another proposition where he promises to fix him up with the housekeeper ( Emma Chawke)..... could be tricky !!
Apart from the weather and the Australian flu, everything is good to go. The Hall will be warm, tickets available on the door. Looking forward to meeting old friends and new.
Opening weekend, Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st at 8pm nightly. Again the following weekend, 26th, 27th & 28th Jan.
YOGA IS BACK:
Due to Granagh Players performances of 'The Chastitute', the Hall is unavailable for two weekends. Therefore the yoga classes move to Castletown Hall for the first two weekends. First weekend, classes on Saturday 20th @5pm and Sunday 21st @11am.
The class on Saturday night will work on Hips and Twists, help support with the January detox !
Sunday we'll continue to build on the 'Sun Salutation' practice and bring in more standing poses.
All the while practicing our breathing techniques to support deep relaxation.
