CHOMHBHRÓN: Our sympathies to the family of the late Willie Biggane, Kilmore, who died peacefully at his residence on Wednesday July 12th. Husband of the late Mary (nee Condon) and father to the late late Noreen and Seamus. Deeply mourned by his daughter Sharon (Condon), sons Willie and Bobby, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother Ned, sister Mary Teresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. GIVE BLOOD:
The next opportunity to give blood will be on Wed 26th July at the Woodlands House Hotel, Adare, 5pm - 8pm. Following that clinic, they will be in Manister Community Centre, on Monday 31st July, 5pm- 8pm.
CHARITY HARVEST FAIR:
Once again the Greybridge Classic Club are holding their annual fair in Meanus on Sunday 30th July. Lots of free kids entertainment, vintage tractor & car displays, Bailing displays and model car displays.
FOYNES:
Sat 22nd July - Foynes Air show takes place. Sunday 23rd, Irish coffee celebration with lots of free Music sessions. Finishing off with a fireworks display.
B.FEST:
Ballingarry BFest 2017 will take place from Friday August 4th to Monday August 7th. Friday: The Kimo Cup sponsored by Condron's & Barrett's in association with Ballingarry AFC. Presentation after in Condron's with music & food. Saturday: The annual Fun Run/Walk for all the family will take place @ 11am Cake sale & Coffee morning will follow !! Sunday: Family Fun on the Low Road from 2pm - Go Kart & Tractor Race kindly sponsored by William Walsh. Disco on the Gig Rig from 6pm. Arlandria (Foo Fighters Tribute Act) will be supported by Abbeyfolk on the Gig Rig from 8pm. Monday: A Fairy Trail through the gardens of The Mustard Seed from 2pm to 5pm, kindly sponsored by The Fairy Temple & The Mustard Seed.

You never know who might be passing through Granagh any particular day.! Last Sunday morning, Brid and Tom got a big surprise when the one and only Francis Brennan popped in, on his way to Newcastle West show !!
