Can you HELP MusicaFusion School.?

My name is Susie Butler and I'm the principal of Musica Fusion School of Music. We run free orchestra program for our students and the students of other teachers in the area and to date have over 70 children from 4yrs to 18yrs in our orchestra program.

I have 6 highly qualified teachers who also donate their time and talents to the orchestra and to date the school has funded the instruments, rehearsal space, photocopying and all other costs of the orchestra.

We have performed numerous times, our most recent performance was at the Coole Music Festival in Galway where we received great acclaim. So much so, that today we heard from the IAYO (Irish Association of Youth Orchestras) that we have been chosen to perform next February 10th at the National Concert Hall in Dublin for the IAYO youth festival.

As you can imagine this is a huge honour for us all and the children and parents are over the moon. However, we are not in a financial position at the moment to fulfill the requirements to play. We have children struggling to play inappropriately sized instruments that we simply cannot bring to the National Concert Hall. Also, the Festival fee is out of our reach as is the costs of the buses we would need.

In short, we need help from the businesses in Charleville and surrounding areas in terms of sponsorship. Specifically, we need sponsorship for the following:

1. 1/8 size double bass, case and bow €1067.85

2. 1/4 size double bass, case and bow €1067.85

3. 1/2 size double bass, case and bow €1226.45

4. Xylephone transport case €309

5. Festival entry fee €250

6. 2 x 50 seater buses to transport children and instruments €1400

Please help us. Even if you are not a musical person, I hope you understand the significance of our children playing in this incredible venue and what an honour it is that are representing the local area on a National stage. I suppose for sports people, it would be the equivalent of the local GAA club playing to a packed house in Croke Park.

So, please, please help us get there and give these children and their families an experience that they will never forget!
