Reposing at O'Grady's Funeral Home, Ballingarry on this Wednesday 13th, from 6pm to 8pm, arriving at St. Joseph's Church, Granagh at 8.45pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12pm. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Our last Afternoon tea dance will be held on this coming Sunday 17th in the Hall, with music by Jerry McCarthy and ' Autumn Gold '. 2.30pn to 5.30pm, High Tea and Raffle. All welcome.
GRANAGH 1916:
Granagh 1916 Commemoration, will take place Sunday 24th April from 6.30 pm. For all who wish to take part in the march there will be a practice on this coming Sunday 17th at 7.30 pm, assembling at the Creamery.
DEFIB TRAINING:

CPR and Defib training are essential for everyone nowadays as doctors and ambulances will take a time to arrive.! Time is of the essence, as brain function can only last 3 mins without oxygen !! Many thanks to Ann Hickey for organising a course Saturday last with up to fifteen attending. The tutors were excellent and gave us plenty of practise. Hopefully, there will be another one in the near future, be sure to get your name in.

SPRING FAIR:
St. Joseph's Foundation will hold their annual Spring Fair on Sunday 24th April. at Baker’s Road, Charleville and comprises of a number of stalls such as books, bottles, crafts, white elephant, euro stall etc.
Musical Entertainment, kiddie’s corner, kiddies sports, pony rides, face painting are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed at the Spring Fair.
There are numerous attractive raffles held on the day and we are extremely grateful to all who donate sponsorship and prizes for these raffles. The Foundation is also hugely indebted to all who help in any way to make this event such a success each year.
A huge number of staff and volunteers work tirelessly on the days leading up to the event and this support is vital to the success of the Spring Fair. If you would like to donate to the Spring Fair – all donations are welcome. Tel 063-89252.
' CRY ' MONAGEA;
The annual charity walk/run and cycle will be held on Saturday 30th April, in memory of Niamh and Darra. It is hope d to raise much needed funds and awareness for CRY who are based in the Tallaght Hospital.
CRY offers counselling and support to those who have suffered a loss.
It promotes heart screening by its support for the development of a National Screening and counselling Service. It is a self-supporting registered charity.
It does not receive any Government funding and is consequently dependent on fund-raising activities and private donations. The route for the walk/run is from Monagea Church into Newcastle West and back out via Killeline Rugby grounds and Gardenfield. The route for the cycle is from Monagea to Charleville via Strand,
Ashford, Broadford, Dromcolliher, Milford, Newtown and home via Rourke's Cross and the Bruff line. Further info, contact Liam Herlihy or Clare O'Donovan.
FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE:
Courses being held in the Ballingarry Family Resource Centre (beside the hall) every week.
All are very welcome to join in on these Courses. Basic Computer Course every Monday from 10am - 1pm. Arts & Crafts every Tuesday from 10am - 12pm. Parent/Toddler Group every Wednesday from 10.30am Personal Development every Thursday from 10am - 12pm Chiropody is in Ballingarry Family Resource Centre Thursday 5th May from 10am - 12pm, €10 per person over 60, no appointment nessecary. Congratulations to Evan McDonagh, Kilatal on his very 1st Birthday. Breda Fitzgibbon was also celebrating over the weekend. James Kelly who happens to be in Iraq had a bit of a do on the banks of the Tigris.!!
