Granagh/Ballingarry Camogie Notes 15th March 2016

TABLE QUIZ: Granagh/Ballingarry Camogie club would like to express our gratitude to everyone who took part in the Table quiz last Saturday night in the Rock Bar Granagh. It was a great night with plenty of laughter and banter at every table. MC on the night was Jimmy Chawke and did a smashing job as usual. Thanks to everyone who helped out on the night and also to our generous sponsors who donated to the raffle..there was plenty of prizes to go around so thanks a mill to all who donated. Special thanks to the Rock Bar and Staff and also to the girls who organised such a successful night. Winners on the night were Ann Hickey, Patsy Power, Anne O Donoghue and Nora Farragher, there was close competition for 2nd with 4 other tables tied for 2nd ! Thanks again for everyone who supported us! Limerick v Waterford –Senior Camogie league The club would like to congratulate Fiona Hickey, Sara Carey ,Siobhan Enright and Rebecca Noonan who defeated Waterford in the 2nd round of the national senior league last Sunday which was played in WIT sports grounds. The final score was Limerick 2-11 to Waterford 0- 8. Limerick U16 The club would also like to congratulate Ellen Murphy and Orla Lenihan who were involved with the Limerick U16 team who defeated Waterford in the Munster U16 A shield semi final. It took extra time to separate the two teams but limerick prevailed on a scoreline of 4-7 to 2-11. Well done to all involved Easter Camp Granagh/Ballingarry Camogie club are holding an Easter Camogie camp on Monday March 21st in Ballingarry Gaa Grounds, €10 per child.
