U10 County Blitz

Our U10’s participated in the County Blitz last Saturday in UL and a great day was had by all. Our girls did very well and made it all the way to the semi final which was brilliant. Thank you to the County Board for a great blitz. The team was Mai Griffin, Orla Mulqueen, Shannon Carey,Sophie McDonagh, Ciara Insley, Martha Ryan,Leah Prunty, Chloe O'Keeffe, Kate O'Connor, Eimear O'Kelly, Aoife O'Connell, Emma O'Shea, Rachel Irwin, Kate O'Gorman, Sarah O'Connor, Rachel Houlihan, Rachel O'Connor, Nancy O'Keeffe, Eve Hayes, Jane O'Connell, Eimer Hogan

U13 Plate Semi Final

On Sunday last, Our U13s played away to Na Piarsaigh in the Plate Semi Final in a very good game of camogie. Both teams were very evenly matched and it was a great match to watch. Our girls managed to start the better and with the help of 3 first half goals it gave them a good lead at half time. Na Piarsaigh came back strongly in the 2nd half but our girls played with great determination to with stand some heavy pressure to eventually win 4-4 to 1-1. They now go on to play Templeglantine on Saturday in the Final: The Panel was Zoe Markham, Ciara English, Sinead Griffin, Lisa Lynch, Orla Lynch, Aimee Tangney, Molly Cagney, Ciara O'Connor, Ellen McMahon, Fiona O'Keeffe, Alicia O'Callaghan, Grace Purtill, Laoise Fitzgibbon, Anna Toomey, Molly O'Connell, Aishling Irwin, Laura Frawley, Emily Flynn, Laura McMahon, Nicole McNamara

Senior Match

Well done to our seniors on their 4-22 to 5 pts win over Bruff last Sunday. They now play the quarter final winner between Ahane and Bruff in the semi-final in Ballingarry on Sunday October 4th at 12.00

Mike O’ Brien Tournament

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Annual Mike O’Brien Tournament has to be rescheduled for Sunday the 4th October from 2-5 at Ballingarry GAA.

Climb a hill for Jack and Jill

There will be a fundraiser walk for the Jack and Jill Charity on this Sunday. Jack & Jill is a nationwide charity that provide a service of home nursing care for children aged from birth to 4 years who suffer severe brain damage and need 24 hour care. The walk will be a climb up Knockfierna Hill. Registration will take place prior to the event in the Hall, Ballingarry, Co Limerick at 1.00pm. A registration fee of €16 per adult is payable on the day. This €16.00 provides one hour home nursing care. Donations are also accepted. Please come out and support this great cause.
