U12s County Championship vs Na Piarsaigh

Our U12s were out early on Sunday morning in the County Championship vs Na Piarsaigh and played very well in a great game of camogie. Both team gave a great display and with some great camogie skills on show. Granagh Ballingarry went on to win and now progress to the semi final. U14s Match 1st Round vs Newcastlewest

Last Tuesday Night at Desmond College our U14s played Newcastlewest in the first round of the championship. Our girls played very well on the night against a very good Newcastlewest Team but on this occasion Newcastlewest went on to win and progress to the Cup Semi Final. We now play Murroe Boher on Thursday night in the Plate Semi Final and this should be another close match. U16s Match 1st Round vs Na Piarsaigh

The U16s took to the field on Friday night vs Na Piarsaigh in Ballingarry in the first round of the U16 Championship and continued on where they left off in the league with a 2 point win. Great credit goes to Na Piarsaigh who rallied in the 2nd half and threw everything at ours girls who had a good lead at half time. Our girls showed great resolve and dug deep and played great as a team to hold off Na Piarsaigh. Well done to the girls who now play Doon in the semi final. The last time the 2 sides met was in the league final so its sure to be another tough match. Minors Match 1st Round vs St Anne’s (Kerry)

On Saturday last in Knockaderry our minors played St Anne’s in a very tough match in the minor championship. There was very little between the 2 teams from the throw in and the game flowed from end to end. Thankfully on the day our girls came away with a 2 point win and now progress to the semi-final vs Newcastlewest. Great credit to the U16s players who were also in action the night before and had to play again in quick succession. Well done girls.
