Backs to the Rain !

CEMETERY MASS:

A big crowd attended Mass in Granagh graveyard, Monday, on a lovely mild evening. Shanavotha Mass was held on Tuesday evening and Kilmacow will be held on Thursday 20th at 8.00pm.

GRANAGH PEBBLES:

Natalie Stapleton is having an open evening on this coming Friday 21st August, in Granagh Community Centre, 6pm - 7pm. All parents and children welcome to see her new After School facilities.

COLLECTION:

Saturday 22nd Aug & Sunday 23rd, The Irish Wheelchair Association will be holding their annual Church gate collection. Please support if you can.

CHOMHBHRÓN:

Our sympathies to the family of Joan Cagney, Graigue, wife of the late Willie. She is survived by sons Eamonn, Gerard, John, Liam and daughter Helen. Brothers, daughter-in-law, grandchildren Bill, Sheila, Sean, Rachel, Abby, Patrick, Sara, relatives and friends. She was laid to rest on Thursday 13th in Castletown cemetery.

CLERKS COLLECTION:

The parish clerks'collection was taken up last weekend. If you haven't contributed yet, you can still hand in your envelope this coming weekend.

RECENT CELEBRATIONS:

Happy Birthday wishes to Anne Leahy, Kate Ahern, Aoife Sheehan and Richie Twomey. Congratulations to Joan & Neilus Brosnan who celebrated their 21st Wedding anniversary on 10th August, which also happened to be Joan's birthday.
