Senior Championship
On Monday night our seniors opened the defence of their Senior Championship title against local rivals, Castletown/Ballyagran in very testing conditions on a cold and windy night in Ballingarry. Both teams started brightly in what proved to be a tough physical match with both teams eager to make a good start to the championship. Granagh Ballingarry led at half time on a score of 1-6 to 0-1 after Aoife Sheehan converted from the penalty spot just before half time. Our girls started brightly in the second half and with further goals from Vera Sheehan and Mary Coleman, the girls went on to win comfortably on a score line of 3-12 to 0-4 . Well done girls
