CHOMHBHRÓN Our sympathies to the family of Raymond Lane, Ballyteigue, who passed away on Sunday 10th. Deeply regretted by his wife Margaret; daughters, Marguerite, Marie, Catriona, Noreen and sons; Patrick, Daniel and Michael. His mother Mary, brothers sisters extended family and friends.

Colette Clifford (nee Kirwan) was laid to rest last Thursday, 21st May, after a short illness. Wife of the late Michéal and mother of the late Margaret, survived by her sons David & Kevin, daughter Caroline, daughters-in-law Mary and Carmel, sons-in-law Timmy & Brian, sister Peggy, grandchldren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

If you can donate some, Kevin Cusack or Marie O'Keeffe would be delighted to receive them. NEW ARRIVALS Congratulations to Robert Noonan and his partner Natasha O'Shea on the birth of their baby boy, Killian who arrived safely on 6th May. That makes Philip and Theresa first time grandparents with no shortage of aunts and uncles for babysitting. Congratulations to Carol and Seamus Ahern, Knockfierna, on the safe arrival of baby James Michael, on 18th April. Congratulations to Paul & Karen McDonagh, Kilatal on the birth of their baby boy Evan, on 13th April, a little brother for James and Ryan. Also to, Antony & Aoife Scannell welcomed a little sister for Chloe,on 16th April baby Lia joins the family. Busy Busy time for everyone.

THERESA'S BIG BIRTHDAY

Following on from the Noonan/ Murphy wedding on 2nd May, they decided to continue the celebrations, as the family were already in situ. The Chawke family and relations gathered in The Woodlands to celebrate Theresa's upcoming special birthday, in advance of the actual date of 9th June. Of course she was looking a million dollars, having topped up the tan in the States earlier. !! Wishing Theresa many more years of health and happiness. One could stretch out these kind of celebrations to the end of the year......
