CONGRATULATIONS:
Sending our very best wishes to Michelle McCarthy and Dave McMahon who were married on Saturday 20th in Ballyseede Castle, with their lovely boys, Ford & Christian, present. The service was conducted by James Kelly, Michelle's cousin, who also happens to be trained as a celebrant. The couple were surrounded by family and friends, from near & far, to make this a wonderful celebration. Wishing them every happiness in the years ahead, and may love and laughter light their days, and warm their heart and home.
Also sending congratulations to Aidan & Mary Liston, Banogue, who were celebrating their golden jubilee wedding anniversary, 50yrs of marriage. It is both an accomplishment and privilege to be able to celebrate fifty years. Surrounded by all their siblings, seven children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and twenty two grandchildren it made for a noisy weekend, at the very least.! Many stories were told, many songs were sung & many memories made. We wish them both many more years of fun, enjoyment, happiness & good health.

DID YOU KNOW:
Your heart can pump one million barrels of blood in a lifetime. Meanwhile your kidneys filter your entire supply of blood more than thirty times a day.! You can live without your stomach.! Thirty million years ago, the three auricular muscles of the outer ear helped our ancestors pivot their ears the way cats do. Only about ten per cent can engage those muscles nowadays and wiggle their ears.! Only one in ten cells in your body is actually human, the majority are microorganisms i.e. bacteria and viruses.! In your eyes, the point where the top lid meets the lower lid, is called the Canthus. The area of your back that can't be reached for scratching, is called the Acnestis.
