AUTUMN DANCING


AFTERNOON TEA DANCING:

Our first tea dance of the season will be held on Sunday 18th October, 2.30pm - 5.30pm, with music supplied by Pakie Moloney & Seamus Sheehy. Adm only €5 pp which includes high tea. Call in for a while and listen to the wonderful music.

GRANAGH UTD. F.C:

Fixtures - Saturday 17th:

U10s, Grp 1: BallingarryA v Granagh at 11.30am. U10s, Grp4: Granagh B v Mountcollins at 11.30am. U12 Skechers National Cup: Killarney v Granagh at 1pm.

U15 Div 1: Granagh v Newcastle West at 2pm.

COMPUTER COURSES:

Granagh Development invite those who are interested in participating in a computer class to forward your names - we have three so far.! The classes can be designed to cater for beginners or a refresher maybe, whatever is required. However, a minimum of 8 people are required to give the commitment to attend each night, otherwise it is not viable. Please e-mail - oreganmb@gmail.com or ring 061-399152 as soon as possible.

PARENTS' ASSOCIATION: Colaiste Na Trocaire: The Parents who attended the AGM on the 6th of October, failed to elect a new Parents'Council, therefore we invite all parents to an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on the 3rd of November at 8:00 pm. Should the parent body fail again to elect the minimum of three officers required, please note that the Parents’ Council then will be disbanded.!

KNIGHTSTREET BRIDGE CLUB:

Here are the results for Tuesday 29th Sept 2015, from the Ballingarry Club. 1st. Mary Boyce and Eileen Noonan. 2nd. Marie Herlihy and Mary Liston.

Tuesday 6th October 2015: - 1st. Cora Byrnes and Kathleen Geaney.

2nd. Tony Joyce and Eileen O'Connor. Well done to all our winners.

CELEBRATIONS:

Congratulations Ms. Rebecca Noonan, Kilmore, on reaching her 18th Birthday, but her celebrations were put on hold for the county final.!! A big sporting weekend all round including GranaghBallingarry Camogie Club who were celebrating winning their three in a row county title against Kileedy 1-4 v 1-3. One of the greats, Vera Sheehan, picked up her 16th county medal. Congrats to their mentors, Ciarán Carey, Louise Enright and Tom Stack. GET WELL: Wishing Marian Noonan a speedy recovery - the golfing and dancing will have to be put on hold for a little while.!

Sat 31st Oct: Camogie Club Bag Packing in Dunnes, Childres Rd.

Tuesday 3rd Nov: EGM of Parents' Assoc, Colaiste Na Trocaire.

Friday 6th Nov: Clothes Drive in aid of Granagh Parents' Assoc.
