Peg with the coveted Liam McCarthy. CHOMHBHRON: Our sympathies to the family of the late Margaret (Peg) Treacy (née Conway) Killoughty, who passed peacefully on May 25th, surrounded by her family in the wonderful care of St. Ita's Hospital, Newcastlewest. She is deeply mourned by her family - Brid, Jim, Tom, Mike, Mary, Nora, Seán, Sheila, Mairéad, Claire and Joanne, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Mary and Kathleen, relatives, neighbours and many friends. She was reposed at O'Grady's Funeral Home, with Requiem Mass at St. Joseph's Church, Granagh on Monday, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Go dtuga Dia suaimhneas siorai di. MO

Liskennett Forest Car-Park: Lookin' Good.

LISKENNETT CAR-PARK: Progress is being made at the new car park but there is still more to be done, not to mention the paperwork ! Sheridan Cedar Landscapes, Castleisland were the Coillte approved contractors for the project and have done a fabulous job on the site. A solar-powered barrier is in the process of being installed, signs will be going up and the pathway will be stoned. Another item from the 5-Year-Plan can be ticked off, thanks to the hard-working committee.
