Good Money News For Knockfierna

Knockfierna Hill Development Association Chairman was delighted to have got a letter from Limerick County Council during the week stating that they have the funding to tar the road and Car Park on Knockfierna Trail.This will be wonderful for the many walkers on the hill and the thousands of visitors every year. This is a job that badly needs to be done and is estimated to be a project worth over €200000 to the area. Stephen Keary needs special mention for getting it as an Amenity grant. As the council are happy to promote this beautiful Amenity. Also thanks to the many local people who helped get this over the line.
