Clothes Collection Coming Up:


Some members of the Granagh-Ballingarry Camogie Club visited the School with their Cup & Shield.

MUNSTER SEMI-FINAL:

Best of Luck to Granagh-Ballingarry Camogie Club as they face Burgess Doharra, in Ballingarry on this coming Saturday 29th Oct at 2.30pm.

CLOTHES COLLECTION:

Granagh Parents Association are holding a Used Clothes collection Friday Nov 11th at Granagh National

School. Accepting any re-wearable clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, towels, bed linen, soft toys.

Also accepting mobile phones and laptops – keep in separate bag. Drop off between 3pm – 7pm on Thursday 10th or before 9.30am on Friday 11th. The more bags, the better. In association with Lenrec.ie

S​HOEBOX APPEAL:​

A Christmas Shoebox will bring a ray of hope, lots of laughter and smiles to very deprived children.

Enclose a selection of goods under the headings, Write, Wash, Wear and Wow.

O'Grady's Spar, Snows and the Pharmacy have a supply of the stickers. Closing date, Nov 11th.

HOLY SOULS:

On the four Sundays in November, the Rosary will be prayed in Shanavotha at 3pm and Granagh graveyard at 3.30pm. You are invited to come and join in prayer for your departed.

Mass for the Bereaved will be celebrated in Granagh on Saturday 5th Nov at 7pm.

GAA CLUB - PLANNING MEETING:

Granagh-Ballingarry GAA and Bord na nÓg are in the process of developing a Club Plan which will map out the future direction of the Club. As part of this process, we are holding an open community meeting on Wednesday 9th Nov, in Granagh Community centre, at 8pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to give all members of our community the opportunity to have their say, from coaching to facilities to communications etc. We welcome our members, officers, parents, players ( past & present) and everyone in Granagh and Ballingarry. This will be a workshop based event facilitated by Donal Fitzgibbon, ( former Limerick County Board Chairman ) and will take no longer than one hour. Tea and refreshments will be served on the night.
