The tandem pair claimed their first medal at the Izu Velodrome in the Women’s B 3000m Individual Pursuit. On the road they claimed gold in the Time Trial and repeated that success with a tactical triumph in the road race. These three medals have been added to their impressive haul of Paralympic medals that were already in their possession following gold and silver medal dispalys in Rio 2016.

 TREE  PLANTING

Sunday 19th: 11am:
Fr. Tom will be planting an Oak tree in the  Church grounds, after Mass.  Why ?   For the Season of Creation, which runs from September 1st to October 4th (the feast of St. Francis of Assisi) and the theme this year is "Restoring Our Common Home '' .
Parishes are invited to plant a native Irish Tree as a symbol, declaring our commitment to care more deeply for God’s Creation.

 ANY  INFO ????:

Just lately, a few people have been enquiring on the whereabouts of St. John's well and if people have any information on it.

It is thought to be located somewhere around Molly Noonan's house.  Apparently, early in the 20th century it would still have seen processions and people doing the rounds.

Get in contact with us, if anyone has any information.
