DID YOU KNOW:

It’s SCARY the amount of batteries that don’t get recycled! The equivalent of 60 million AA batteries are sold in Ireland every year and frighteningly, many of these end up in landfill, wasting the precious resources within them.

Be a bright spark & support Batteries for Barretstown by recycling your batteries this Halloween.

It’s SCARY the amount of mobile phones that don’t get recycled! The equivalent of 6 billion mobile phones are in use worldwide and over 5 million will become waste by the end of this year alone. Frighteningly, only a small part will be recycled. The recycling of electronic waste not only saves valuable natural resources, but also reduces the environmental harm of e-waste. Be a bright spark & recycle.
