We offer our sympathies to the family of the late Kitty Noonan, Ballyguile, who died peacefully at her residence on 29th December.
She is survived by her family, Eamonn, Joan, Jim, Pat and Noreen, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother Willie, sister Sheila, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Requiem Mass was celebrated by Fr. Dan Lane, on Monday January 1st, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Drama time is almost upon us.. it crept up there while we were enjoying the Christmas break, so now we have to move into top gear!! Marian and Billy are re-painting the set for us, while Martin and Shane got the large posters set up. We are hoping the Australian flu doesn't hit although their are plenty coughs and colds around. Seemingly, Jimmy Sheehy is offering a wide range of cures, once you have no problem taking liquids.!
We have twenty one in the cast this year and are delighted to welcome six new faces - Joe Power, Janice Twomey, Natalie Stapleton, Fiona Griffin, Aaron Noonan and John Kelly.
The Chastitute, John Bosco, tells his story from his own kitchen table. He recounts scenes from his past - the girls he has met and how he messed up his chances with them. He meets sweet innocent Julia ( Janice Twomey) and as they are seated in the Baby Ford .... I can't tell you what happens !! He meets Dora McMoo (Natalie Stapleton ) at the nurses dance in Cork, once again they end up in the Baby Ford .....
