Tuesday 11th October, 2016. 8.00pm.
YOUR PARISH NEEDS YOU:
Thursday 6th Oct: Granagh Development Association is looking for new members. You are invited to an Information meeting on this coming Thursday night, 8.00 pm to 9 pm, in the Community Centre. Would you like your say in what happens in the parish, if so, drop in for a cuppa and information on what the GDA does. Everyone Welcome.
YOUTH CLUB IS BACK:
Friday 7th October, 7.30pm - 9.30pm. New Members Welcome. Age 10yrs and upwards. All members have to be signed In and Out each Night. Yearly Registration on the night €10 per child with reductions for second/third child. €2 per night for Entry.
On Saturday October 8th. No Envelope week-end. Instead, you can bring some non-perishable food items to Mass. It is our opportunity to thank God for the abundance of food we enjoy and the many gifts we have received during the year. It is a very practical way to share with those who are less privileged than us.
On Tuesday 11th October, in the community centre, the wonderful Kate Upton resumes her classes. 4 - 7yr olds from 5.30pm - 6.30pm. 8-12yr olds from 6.30pm - 7.30pm. Only €5 per class. We hope to see all our dancers back again. Kate is very much in demand, and we are lucky to have her coming to our own Hall.

FOOTPRINTS OF FAITH:
Lots of boots, shoes and wellies have arrived in Church, call in and have a look, they are beautiful. !! It is a unique way of remembering our forebears, who for the most part walked to attend Mass and thanks to them the faith flowered and blossomed down through the generations. Hopefully we can honour their legacy by passing on the faith through our own example.
It is very remiss of me, but I forgot to welcome the new tenants to The Rock Bar. Seamus and Janice Twomey, Croom, took over earlier in the year and have settled in very comfortably. They are a lovely couple and most accommodating. A few weeks ago they made us get out our fashions from the 70s & 80s, for a disco night. Janice's mum, sister and friends arrived from Monaghan, appropriately dressed, to boogie the night away. Just recently they encouraged many of their patrons to sign up for 'AdaretoSurvive' . Up to forty people took part, and thoroughly enjoyed the day, mud and all. Sponsorship raised went towards supporting the 'Honouring Aaron Charity ', in Limerick. We wish Seamus and Janice every success with their new venture.
Chiropody this Thursday, 6th Oct, from 10am - 12pm, Ballingarry Family Resource Centre (beside the hall), €10 per person over 60. No appointment necessary.
For information on any of their Courses or Chiropody, please ring 069 - 68054.
