First Weekend Down:

GRANAGH PLAYERS:

The Producer, Jim Chawke, cast & crew were not the only ones going away happy after the performances at the weekend. All our audiences seemed to enjoy ' Second Honeymoon ' , so we were delighted. Thanks to our committee and the many volunteers who helped out over the weekend. Without their help it would not be possible to run this event so smoothly. The weather remained dry which was good news for the car parkers.! Thanks to Eoin Butler who came to the rescue, when one of our speakers turned out not to be working. It seems that a part in our amplifier was out of order and had to be taken for repairs so he got us a replacement for the time being. These things seems to go when you need them most.!

No problems though with our maltese puppy - Bimbo aka Poppy Fennessy. She is two years old and just loves the attention and the pampering. Her Mammy, Nora Teresa, says she is not always the perfect pooch at home though !! We find it hard to believe that...

Our sponsors were unbelievably generous again this year, we are indebted to them for their support and it allows us to have around 7 good prizes in the raffle each night.

Kevin Daly Video was with us on Sunday night, which turned out to be the best night so far with the cast on top form and a fantastic audience. The cast and crew are on a well deserved break for the week to recover, so they will be on vitamin drinks and nutri bullets probably, to try and get another boost of energy for the coming weekend. Jim Chawke is sticking to plain water !!

Performance dates - Fri 29th, Sat 30th & Sun 31st. Jan at 8pm nightly.
