XMAS SHOEBOX TIME:
CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES: It is an opportunity to share a little joy and excitement with children who live in circumstances, where these can often be in short supply. Many children have too many toys these days, so it's a great idea to share them with others less privileged. To build your box at home you will need to wrap a shoebox in colourful paper; choose boy or girl, ages 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14; include €4; secure with elastic band; drop it off at collection point. GRANAGH DEV. ASSOC: Our AGM was held last Tuesday, with a good attendance and new faces. The aims of the Association are to promote and assist in the development of Granagh parish, by improving facilities & working for the interest of the community, thereby improving their quality of life.

CHURCH NEWS: Anniversary mass was celebrated last Sunday for the souls of Dan & Julia Brosnan, Coolruss, whose 37th and 15th anniversaries occur.
As you all know, the world is in the grip of an unprecedented hunger crisis - every 3.6 seconds someone dies, from starvation ! So while we were at Mass, 500 people died.... it is hard to come to terms with a fact like that. The world is facing a global emergency and a re
