FIRST COMMUNION: Next weekend we have our First Holy Communion Mass in Granagh. We welcome all to the 11.00am mass in Granagh on Saturday and we congratulate all the boys and girls and their families. TROCAIRE: The time has come to empty the boxes and count up the money collected. We would appreciate if you could return all the Trocaire Boxes this coming weekend as we hope to forward your generous cheque to Trocaire on Monday next. GAA OSKARS: The excitement is building as everyone is eagerly awaiting Friday 26th in Charleville Park. A lot of time and work has gone into organising this event so that it will be the best it can be. Looking at the preview of the film clips and the local characters taking part, it will be a fantastic night of fun and entertinment. SPRING FAIR: Sunday 14th Apr: If you can help out, its' a great cause - Spring Clean for the Spring Fair. They are looking for items which they can sell such as - Books, Cakes, Wine, Spirits, unwanted gifts, games etc - but the latter have to be in good condition. They are also doing a clothes Recycling Drive on the day linking up with the NCBI ( National Council for the Blind). They will accept bags of clean clothes, shoes, handbags, belts etc. No cushions, duvets or pillows. You can drop them into their campus in Baker's Rd., Charleville. CHOMHBHRÓN : The unbelievable sad news of the death of Marie Downey (nee Cullinane) formerly of Ballyagran and her baby Darragh, stopped everyone in their tracks. Shock, sorrow, grief were the immediate reactions. The loss is devastating for her family, the only thing we can do is to remember them in our prayers.
